All my art whether it be drawing, painting, sculpture or printmaking, represents my attempts to bring into consciousness a visual glimpse, often fleeting and elusive, of a person that I’m in effect channeling through me with brushes & paint. The more I can get myself and all my facility out of the way the better and more authentic they seem to be.
I was born in Los Angeles and attended school at California Institute of the Arts, received a BFA in 1969 and had a long career working in the animation industry as a designer. I retired in 2007 to move here and create fine art.
